Last year, the Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics 2023 pass rates for the Arizona State Board exams were 83% for Theory and 95% for the Written Practical! These are amazing pass rates for the amount of students we had graduating and testing last year! We make it part of our mission to support our students and graduates and set them up for success! In addition to test prep being a part of our curriculum, we also set up extra test prep classes for those who are interested in receiving extra study help!

#3: Professional Student Clinic - take public clients to gain experience!
Our high-end student clinic with individual rooms allows our students to gain confidence and apply the knowledge and protocols they learn in class by taking public clients throughout their program! Our students spend 184 hours in the clinic, practicing real applications on real clients, strengthening their sales and communication skills with product recommendations, time management, and room set up and clean up. Our instructors also have a large role within our clinic, supporting our students and stepping into the room to go over skin analysis, as well as monitor the general needs of the clinic. We also have a Case Study project that our students participate in (within the Natural Aesthetics Program) where they have to perform a series of treatments that they recommend for an individual client with whom they work closely to reach their skincare goals!

Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics (SWINA) offers the perfect blend of classical training and the mind-body wellness focus of today’s spa industry. We work with natural skin care product lines, Hylunia and Rhonda Allison. Hylunia is vegan, cruelty-free, and uses the best natural ingredients. Rhonda Allison products are free of dyes, artificial coloring, and fragrances, and over 98% of their products are paraben-free. We also offer a protocol that no other school offers, our Conscious Touch Protocol. Clients come to see Aestheticians for many reasons (not just for their skin concerns), and we prepare our students to take care of and hold space for their clients.
