At SWIHA, we run a massage clinic on campus that is open to the public, where our students have the unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience while working with real clients. As part of their training, students will complete the required hours for licensure, practicing various techniques and modalities under the guidance of experienced instructors. Each session provides students with the opportunity to receive constructive feedback from their clients, helping them refine their skills and build confidence. This real-time experience allows them to learn what it's truly like to work in a professional massage studio, preparing them for a successful career in the field.
We offer two comprehensive massage therapy tracks, both offered in 750 HR or 1000 HR, allowing you to tailor your education to your personal and professional goals:
- Therapeutic Massage Track – Focuses on deep tissue techniques, sports massage, and clinical applications for rehabilitation.
- Ayurvedic Bodywork Track – Integrates ancient healing practices with modern therapeutic techniques for holistic wellness.
For those enrolling in one of our 1000 HR programs, you can choose from multiple opportunities to enhance your skills with specialized electives in areas such as Aromatherapy, Cranial Unwinding, Hypnotherapy, Medical Massage, Nutrition, Myotherapy, Yoga Teacher Training, Reflexology, Reiki and more. These specializations allow you to focus on the techniques that align with your passion and career aspirations.
